St. Petersburg thrill-seekers’ crazy jump: 11m free-fall

Erik Mukhametshin and Yevgeny Obukhov from St. Petersburg are getting ready for a daredevil feat. The young men plan to jump from the roof of an eight-story building onto the roof of a five-story one. Considering the distance between the buildings and their difference in height, the traceurs will fall through the air for about 11 meters. It took a months to prepare for this jump. The traceurs use sophisticated safety equipment and are not new to this, but they need time to concentrate before a jump. And here they go.Erik and Yevgeny have pulled it off. The traceurs say they weren’t injured; they just needed a moment to catch their breath because of the height they jumped from. However, the thrill-seekers warn other people not to try to repeat this stunt.
