The opening ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. Vancouver time, early morning of February 13 Moscow time.A few hours before the Olympic flame is lit, the BC Place Stadium, which will host the ceremony, is peaceful and quiet. All the roads to the stadium are closed. Only the ceremony participants are allowed inside. The Organizing Committee has done its best to keep the ceremony secret.
