President Dmitry Medvedev visited one of the most cutting-edge education centers in Moscow, where he talked to students. The kids told the president about their plans for the Victory Day, to be celebrated on May 9, showed him a computer animation project and shared their Lego experience.
During the tour of the school, Dmitry Medvedev met with the center’s kindergarten children, who described in detail a computer animation project they were working on. They showed him a cartoon they have made. Currently, they are working on the sound track for it.
After that the president visited the center’s elementary school, where the kids are preparing for the celebrations of the 65th anniversary of the Victory over Nazi Germany. They gave the president one of the cards they were making to send to war veterans.
But it was in the Lego class that the president stayed the longest. The kids taught him how to build things with Lego and helped him build his own house.
Medvedev also visited a math class, where he worked on solving a problem and took part in a videoconference with a leading institute of developing technologies in the Siberian city of Tomsk; this institute is cooperating with this education center.
