The museum of Soviet arcade games, which has collected 70 valuable exhibits over the past three years, is gaining popularity. Muscovites come here to play Gorodki, a Russian folk game, Battleships or defeat an opponent on a virtual ice hockey rink.
The idea of establishing this museum belongs to a group of enthusiasts from Moscow. After some time they collected two garages full of exhibits. They find them at abandoned cultural centers, amusement parks and pioneer summer camps.
These arcade games were manufactured at 23 Soviet ordnance factories for 15 years. Soviet machines were often copied from American and Japanese games but were significantly heavier.
