The Lada Kalina Sport Prime Minister Vladimir Putin drove along the Amur motorway will be donated to the AvtoVAZ museum. Before donating the car, the prime minister autographed it.
“The car looks like a chicken, but it flies like a swallow,” the prime minister said.
The prime minister’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the car the prime minister drove was not changed during the trip although two more yellow Lada Kalina Sport cars drove in the entourage.
“One of the cars will be donated to the Transport Ministry to be presented to a road construction veteran worker, while the second will go back to AvtoVAZ to be presented to a plant veteran worker,” AvtoVAZ spokesperson said.
Lada Kalina Sport is a low-volume car made by AvtoVAZ in two versions: with a 1.4-liter engine (90-hp) and with a 1.6-liter engine (98-hp). Vladimir Putin drove along the Chita-Khabarovsk motorway in the Lada Kalina Sport car with 98 hp.
