Artists from all over the world are turning tons of sand into massive sculptures at Moscow’s open-air museum Kolomenskoye. Ahead of the official opening of the Great Roman Empire exhibition on May 11, open-air museum visitors can watch how the sand sculptures are being created.
The exhibition will feature almost 20 sculptures. The Roman Senate is one of them, created by Russian sculptor Sergei Knysh. Senators in the sculpture are leaders of the G8 countries.
