At least 3,000 people took part in the first annual ice fishing contest two hours west of Moscow on the Mozhaisk Reservoir. There are several categories for the contestants, including children, women and family teams, who are trying to catch the most fish by weight to win the grand prize: an aluminum boat. The next stage of the contest will be held on Lake Baikal in Siberia at the beginning of March.
