MOSCOW, July 20 (RIA Novosti) - For the first time, the Kyrgyz Central Electoral Committee has endorsed the form and the text of a certificate and the design of a badge and a flag that will be presented to the president, the committee's press office reported.

President-elect Kurmanbek Bakiyev will receive the symbols of the presidential office on August 14, when he is inaugurated.

The badge is circular and 77 millimeters in diameter. It is made of gold and silver and is decorated with precious stones and colored enamel. Manas, the national hero of the Kyrgyz epic, is depicted in the center.

The president's standard (flag) is a red banner decorated with gold ribbon and gold fringes. There is a gold circle in the center, and inside there is stylized depiction of the state emblem. The flagpole holds a silver brace with the president's full name and the dates of his term in office engraved on it in the official state language.
