CAIRO, September 11 (RIA Novosti, Igor Kuznetsov) - The inauguration of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, reelected for a fifth term in the September 7 polls, has been postponed from September 14 to the 27th.
Mubarak, 77, will be sworn in as president in the presence of members of both houses of the Egyptian parliament and will deliver a keynote speech outlining his plan of action for the next six-year term.
Mubarak won 88.6 percent of the vote in the nation's first ever contested election last Friday, with a 23% voter turnout. He has been ruling the country for twenty-four consecutive years.
