ANKARA, January 6 (RIA Novosti) - A third person infected with the bird flu virus has died in Turkey, a national TV channel reported Friday.
NTV said the victim was the sister of the boy and girl who died in recent days.
Another child of the Kocyigit family is currently being treated in hospital with bird flu symptoms. Doctors consider her condition to be critical.
Nine patients in the hospital have been officially diagnosed with bird flu, and three of these are in a serious condition, hospital officials said.
