Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko expects candidates for the prime ministerial post to show him clear programs of action, a presidential staff official said Friday.
Manouchehr Mottaki said a number of amendments should be made to the proposal to continue the talks, including on the site of uranium enrichment, and on the terms and the parties in the process. 
"Russia's military exports have achieved another success: the 2005 results exceed target by 20% and their volume topped $6 billion," the president said at a meeting of the committee for military-technical cooperation.
"Although [Israel's acting Prime Minister] Ehud Olmert urged [PNA head] Mahmoud Abbas to attend talks after the parliamentary elections in Israel ... they will be impossible without a dialogue with Hamas, which is now the main political force in Palestine"
Earlier in the day Iran began large-scale navy exercises in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, a strait connecting the Islamic Republic to the Arabian Sea. The training exercises will continue through April 6 and involve over 17,000 servicemen.
