Ukrainian, Russian foreign ministers to hold talks in Moscow
16:56 13/04/2006
KIEV, April 13 (RIA Novosti) - Ukraine's foreign minister announced Thursday that he would arrive in Moscow April 21 to attend a meeting of CIS ministers and hold talks with his Russian counterpart.
Borys Tarasyuk said that at the upcoming meeting, he and Sergei Lavrov would sign "a number of bilateral documents."
"There have been positive changes in our bilateral relations," Tarasyuk said.
Relations between the two countries were marred this past winter by a dispute over the price of Russian natural gas supplies. The sides reached a compromise deal in January, setting the price at $95 per 1,000 cubic meters instead of $50 previously.
