Ukraine 2007 budget deficit to be maximum 2% of GDP- source

KIEV, June 20 (RIA Novosti)-Ukraine's state budget in 2007 will run a deficit of no more than 2% of gross domestic product, a source in the country's Finance Ministry said Tuesday.

According to the ministry's information, budget revenues in 2007 should reach 107.1 billion hryvnias ($21.1 bln), which would be 10.6 billion hryvnias ($2.1 bln) more than in 2006.

About 10 billion hryvnias ($2 bln) will be sent to close the budget deficit from funds raised through privatization.

Ukraine's budget in 2006 should collect earnings of 96.5 billion hryvnias (19.3 bln) in 2006, whereas spending has been planned at 108.6 billion (21.7 bln).
