KIEV, August 3 (RIA Novosti) - Leaders of main political forces in Ukraine, except former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko signed Thursday an agreement aiming to end the country's protracted political crisis.

Communist leader Petro Symonenko, the head of the Socialist faction Vasiliy Tsushko, the head of the pro-presidential Our Ukraine faction Roman Bezsmertny, Party of Regions leader Viktor Yanukovych, parliamentary speaker Oleksandr Moroz, outgoing Prime Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov, and President Viktor Yushchenko initialed the national unity agreement.

Tymoshenko, who leads her eponymous bloc in opposition, not only refused to sign the document but called it an act of "orange capitulation".

"Ninety percent of the document is composed of trivial provisions and empty declarations that are used in many platforms but are never implemented by politicians," she said.

Yushchenko urged her to stop talking "empty politics," and criticized her for not participating in the drafting of any version of the document.
