KIEV, September 26 (RIA Novosti) - An airliner carrying Ukraine's defense minister made an emergency landing near Kiev half an hour after takeoff, the ministry said Tuesday.
The Tu-134 passenger plane with Anatoliy Hrytsenko on board was forced to land because of "a windscreen problem."
The minister was on his way to the Albanian capital, Tirana, for a meeting with his counterparts from southeastern Europe.
After the emergency landing at the Borispol Airport, the Ukrainian delegation led by Hrytsenko took off for Albania on another plane.
