TBILISI, October 18 (RIA Novosti) - Political dialogue between Georgia and Russia should resume, the speaker of Georgia's parliament said Wednesday.
"Despite suddenly aggravated relations, political dialogue with Russia should continue," Nino Burdzhanadze told journalists.
She said she intends to head for Moscow to attend a November 14 meeting of speakers of the Caucasian Four - Russia, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Since four Russian officers were detained in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, for alleged spying in late September and released soon afterwards, Moscow has suspended travel and mail links with the South Caucasus state and deported at least 300 Georgians for immigration violations.
