Russia's electricity giant head and architect of the 1990s reforms said the mystery illness of his reformer colleague was linked to the recent killings of an investigative journalist and an ex-spy. 
"Many Americans asked me to tell them about the Iran's policy," Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said. "I am going to write an address to Americans." 
Saakashvili said meetings with the Russian president would be initiated by Georgia from now on.
"The meeting with President Putin was our initiative and it will be so in the future because we need a regular dialogue with Russia," he said. 
Yegor Gaidar, a former acting prime minister of Russia, has been taken to a Moscow hospital after he suffered a sudden illness, Gaidar's daughter said Wednesday.
