Po-210 traces found in three more London hotel staff - 1
LONDON, December 19 (RIA Novosti) - Small traces of polonium-210 radiation were discovered during tests on three more employees of hotels that former Russian security officer Alexander Litvinenko visited shortly before his death in November, the British Health Protection Agency said Tuesday.
Two employees of the Millennium Hotel and an employee of the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel in London tested positive, the agency said in a statement.
A total of 10 people have now been found to have been exposed to radiation in Britain since Litvinenko's death on November 23. Previously his wife Marina and seven staff at the Millennium Hotel tested positive.
Litvinenko visited the Park Lane Hotel on November 1 to meet with contacts Andrei Lugovoi and Dmitry Kovtun, both agents-turned-businessmen, and was taken ill and hospitalized with poisoning symptoms shortly after the meeting.
