ATHENS, April 26 (RIA Novosti) - More than 200 illegal migrants, including women and children, have been rescued in the Aegean Sea, the Greek Merchant Marine Ministry said Thursday.
Greek television reported earlier Thursday a vessel carrying about 200 illegal migrants was in distress near the eastern shore of Attica.
It said a frigate, a torpedo boat, two helicopters, and several civilian ships were involved in the rescue operation.
All of refugees were taken to the hospital.
No information was available regarding their nationality.
