CAIRO, June 14 (RIA Novosti) - The Council of Foreign Ministers from the League of Arab States (LAS) will hold an emergency session Friday on the situation in the PNA and Lebanon, the Secretary General of the LAS said Thursday.
Amre Moussa said the Palestinian crisis had escalated to the point where "the entire Palestinian issue is at stake."
The Gaza Strip was swept by a new wave of armed conflict between the pro-presidential Fatah movement and Hamas militants June 7 when over 70 people were killed.
The Arab ministers will also discuss the situation in Lebanon following the death of Lebanese MP Walid Ido and another nine people in a bomb blast Wednesday.
