SEOUL, August 13 (RIA Novosti) - Delegations from North and South Korea will meet Tuesday to discuss the agenda of the second-ever summit to be held between the countries' leaders August 28-30, Seoul's Yonhap agency said.

At the working-level talks in the North Korean border city of Kaesong, the sides will also discuss technical issues relating to the summit in Pyongyang, including transport, communications, media and security, the agency said citing officials.

Talks between South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun and his North Korean counterpart Kim Jong-il will take place seven years after the first groundbreaking summit of the North's leader with South Korea's then president, Kim Dae-jung, also in the North Korean capital.

The 2000 summit marked a thaw in relations and led to economic benefits for the impoverished Communist North. The new summit comes after North Korea shut down its only operating nuclear reactor, a source of weapons-grade plutonium, last month in exchange for economic and diplomatic incentives under a February six-nation deal.

Yonhap also reported that South Korea had rescheduled its annual military exercises, which had been planned for late August, to avoid any possible sources of tension in advance of the summit.
