Russia to participate in DSA-2008 arms exhibition in Malaysia
"Rosoboronexport will take part in one of the largest arms and equipment exhibitions in Asia, which will be held in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, between April 21 and 24, 2008," Leonid Gubarenko said at the MAKS-2007 air show in the Moscow Region.
The spokesman added that the Russian companies would be offered 300 square meters (3,300 square feet) of space at the exhibition, which could be increased to 500 square meters (5,400 square feet).
A representative of the DSA-2008 organizing committee, who is also attending the MAKS-2007 salon, said in turn that about 600 companies from 40 countries would take part in the Malaysian exhibition, expected to be attended by over 25,000 people.
