BEIJING, October 22 (RIA Novosti) - Thirty-four people have died in a fire at a shoe factory in eastern China, the Xinhua agency said.
The factory caught fire late on Sunday, and 21 people were also injured in the subsequent blaze, which was extinguished an hour later.
Local authorities said the factory had no license. An inquiry has been launched.
