KIEV, October 28 (RIA Novosti) - Rescuers are evacuating about 500 miners from a coalmine in eastern Ukraine that has caught fire, the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN said on Sunday.
The fire at the Frunze coalmine in the Lugansk Region occurred on October 28 at the depth of 870 meters, the rescue service in the Donetsk Region in eastern Ukraine said.
There have been no reports about the victims so far.
