GAZA, November 29 (RIA Novosti) - An Israeli air strike left four Hamas militants dead in the Khan Younis area in southern Gaza, Palestinian radio reported on Thursday.
Another two Hamas members were killed Wednesday in a strike described by the Israeli military as a response to a spate of rocket and mortar attacks on southern Israel in the run-up to the Annapolis peace conference held on Tuesday.
Israel has accused Hamas of carrying out rocket attacks ever since the Islamist group took control of the Gaza Strip from the pro-presidential Fatah movement in June.
