TBILISI, February 26 (RIA Novosti) - The body of Georgian businessman Badri Patarkatsishvili, who died of a heart attack February 13, arrived in Tbilisi on Tuesday after being flown from the U.K.
Patarkatsishvili's relatives and friends gathered at the airport in the Georgian capital to take the billionaire's body to his former residence Arcadia.
According to relatives several foreign leaders are expected to attend his funeral planned for Thursday.
Patarkatsishvili died at his Surrey home near London on February 13, a post mortem revealed he had died from coronary disease.
Patarkatsishvili, Georgia's richest man, came third in the January 5 presidential polls in the ex-Soviet Caucasus state, garnering 7.1% of the vote.
He was put on the wanted list at home on charges of plotting a coup during November street protests in Tbilisi against Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.
