The chocolate egg, which is 91 cms (35 inches) wide and 1.2 meters high (3.9 ft), has a 4.2-cm-thick shell and is filled with over 2,500 chocolate candies. The makers sold the exclusive sweet for a total of $7,000 delivering it by refrigerator truck to stop it melting.
According to the Guinness Book of Records, the world's largest Easter egg was made in Belgium. The egg measured 8.32 meters (27 ft) high and was made of at least 50,000 bars or around 2,000 kg of chocolate.
