* Khasan Yandiyev, deputy chairman of Ingushetia's Supreme Court, was killed in an attack by unidentified assailants in the city of Karabulak, the republic's investigative committee said

* A militant leader was killed in a special operation in Daghestan in southern Russia, the local security service said
