RIO DE JANEIRO, July 22 (RIA Novosti) - At least 13 people have died following a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in southern Brazil, national media reported on Tuesday.

The bus was overturned in the accident, which occurred in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

A total of 21 people have been hospitalized.

On July 12, at least 22 people were killed in western Brazil in a similar head-on collision between a bus carrying school teachers and an empty fuel tanker.
