Russia and Hungary should find new ways to manage the risks connected with gas transits via Ukraine following the recent "gas crisis" between Kiev and Moscow, a Russian first deputy premier said on Saturday.

Georgia has resumed Russian gas transits to South Ossetia suspended before a five-day war between Moscow and Tbilisi in August, a source in the South Ossetian government told RIA Novosti on Saturday. 
A Ukrainian energy expert said Russia came out on top in the recent gas dispute with Ukraine but believes that Turkey could prove to be the outright winner as the EU seeks alternative gas routes.
