MOSCOW, February 16 (RIA Novosti) - Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic is due to pay a short visit to Moscow on Friday to sign an agreement on visa-free travel with Russia, a source Serbian Embassy said on Monday.
"Jeremic will take part in the signing ceremony of an agreement on mutual travel requirements for Russians and Serbs," the source said.
The agreement will allow Russians and Serbs to pay month-long visits to both countries without having to apply for visas.
Serbia lifted visa requirements for Russians in early March last year, shortly after Kosovo made its February 17 unilateral declaration of independence.
During the visit, Jeremic is to meet with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, and an official from the presidential administration.
In the Balkans, Russia also enjoys visa-free travel regimes with Croatia, Montenegro and Macedonia.
