MOSCOW, March 26 (RIA Novosti) - Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, will arrive in Russia on a two-day official visit on March 30, the Russian government announced on Thursday.

Sheikh Mohammed, who is also the emir of Dubai, was invited by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

"During the upcoming bilateral talks, issues on strengthening Russian-UAE political interaction will be discussed, as well as developments in cooperation in the trade, economic and investment spheres," the government statement said.

"Particular emphasis will be given to expanding the involvement of Russian companies in developing large projects in the U.A.E., especially in the oil and gas sectors and energy, as well as developing trade turnover between the countries."

Other issues to be discussed will include U.A.E. investment in the Russian economy, including the creation of tourist and recreational zones.
