WHO says 5,728 confirmed swine flu cases worldwide, 61 deaths

Mexico reported 2,059 laboratory confirmed human cases with 56 deaths. The United States has 3,009 cases, including three fatalities. Canada reported 358 cases and one fatality. And Costa Rica said eight people have contracted the disease, and one of them died.
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Cuba, Denmark, Ireland, Poland, Portugal and Switzerland have confirmed one case each of the H1N1 influenza virus with no deaths.
Finland, Norway, Sweden and Thailand confirmed two cases. China, Guatemala, the Netherlands and South Korea have three cases each without fatalities. El Salvador and Japan have four reported cases.
Colombia has six cases, Israel and New Zealand have seven, Brazil eight, Italy nine, Germany 12, France 13, Panama 29, Britain 68 and Spain 98 cases, according to the WHO.
