5 killed in Indonesian Navy patrol plane crash - report

A local police chief said that two evacuation teams had been dispatched to the crash location
© REUTERS/ StringerMOSCOW, September 7 (RIA Novosti) - Five bodies were found at the crash site of an Indonesian Navy patrol plane in East Kalimantan, Xinhua reported on Monday.
It said the remaining four passengers were found safe with non-life-threatening injuries.
A Navy spokesman was quoted as saying the plane with three crewmembers and six passengers was on a routine patrol flight when the crash occurred.
In an interview with Indonesian news TV station Metro TV, he said that the Nomad N24 maritime patrol plane was fit to fly.
A local police chief said that two evacuation teams had been dispatched to the crash location.
