KABUL, September 17 (RIA Novosti) - At least nine people were killed and 38 injured on Thursday in a suicide bomb attack in Afghanistan's capital of Kabul, a source said.

Afghan Minister of Public Health Sayed Amin Fatemi told journalists three Afghans had been killed and 38 were reported injured.

Italy's ANSA news agency, citing military sources, said that six Italian military personnel were killed, when a car laden with explosives smashed into a fuel tanker traveling from the international airport towards the U.S. embassy.
