German police nab crow for stalking woman

MOSCOW, October 5 (RIA Novosti) - Police in the southern German town of Weinsberg have detained a crow who repeatedly chased and attacked a local woman, the online edition of the Bild newspaper has reported.

According to eyewitnesses, as soon as the woman left her house, the bird rushed at her, attacking her with beak and wings. The crow used the victim's car as a base from which it launched its aerial raids.

In addition to physically assaulting the woman, the bird had other ways of annoying its victim - she stole shopping bags and pecked at the windows of her house.

After being forced to evade the bird for several days, the woman called the police, who caught the bird with the help of neighbors. It has been sent to the city's animal shelter.
