
MOSCOW, November 166 (RIA Novosti) - At least six people died and 14 were injured when a bus collided with a truck in China's eastern Fujian province, the Global Times reported.
The accident occurred on Sunday on the expressway linking Shenyang, capital of northeastern Liaoning Province, and Haikou, the capital of the southern Hainan Province, the website said. The truck reportedly broke through the guardrail and collided head-on with the bus.
According to the Global Times, two people in the truck, including the driver, and four bus passengers died at the scene.
The injured were admitted to hospital, the website said, adding an investigation was underway.
China leads in the numbers of road accidents in the world. At least 100,000 people die in road accidents in China each year.
