A secretary in Florida made a hoax bomb call to an airport in Miami to help her boss make his flight on time, Fox News said.
The woman first sent an e-mail and then called the airport. Police searched the plane but found no bomb, the TV channel said.
Investigators discovered the call was made by 31-year-old Claudia De La Rosa, and the woman was immediately detained. She told police she was trying to help her boss catch the Honduras-bound plane, as it was her fault that he was late.
Police officials told Fox News the quick-witted secretary will be released on bail of $7,500.
