At least 10 people have been killed and over 25 injured in a suicide explosion near a mosque in northwestern Pakistan's Lower Dir district, the Aaj TV channel reported.
A terrorist driving a bomb-laden car blew up the vehicle as worshipers were leaving Friday prayers. Some of the victims were officers from a nearby police station.
No militant organizations have yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Lower Dir is located close to the Swat Valley, where the Pakistani army recently completed an offensive against Taliban militants. Over 2,000 militants have been reported killed in the region since early May.
According to various reports, about 500 people have been killed in a series of suicide bomb attacks since October.
