Russia, Libya sign $1.8 bln arms deal - Putin

Russia and Libya have signed a 1.3-billion-euro ($1.8 billion) arms contract, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Saturday.

Russia and Libya have signed a 1.3-billion-euro ($1.8 billion) arms contract, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Saturday.

"It's not only for small arms and light weapons," he said.

He added that the contract was signed on Friday.
