A gap between Ukraine's presidential candidates Viktor Yanukovych and Yulia Tymoshenko narrowed to less than 4% after 70.30% of votes were counted, the Central Election Commission said.
Opposition leader Yanukovych is ahead with 49.07% of the vote, while Prime Minister Tymoshenko gained 43.77%.
Ukraine's Central Election Commission said that the voter turnout was 69%, slightly more than in the January 17 first round that saw Yanukovych gain 35.32% of the vote and Tymoshenko 25.05%.
