At least 25 people died on Thursday morning when a bus crashed into a river in western Nepal, the IANS news agency said.
The accident occurred in Nepal's Surkhet district after the bus veered off a highway and plunged into the Karnali river.
The area is now being searched for surviving passengers.
Police said overcrowding could have been the reason for the accident.
