Miss Russia 1998 and former Miss Universe semifinalist Anna Malova was arrested in the United States on charges of the illegal possession of drugs, FoxNews.com said on Wednesday.
Malova, 38, was apprehended by a special narcotics officer as she was leaving a pharmacy store in New York.
Besides illegal possession of drugs she was also charged with forgery and impersonating a physician.
FoxNews said, citing the former beauty queens' pharmacist, "the doctor believed Malova stole a prescription pad and wrote out phony prescriptions for painkillers."
Malova, who studied in Russia to be a doctor but is not licensed to practice in the United States, was arrested on similar charges three months ago.
