Since the end of June, Switzerland has denied visas to 36 Iranian citizens and frozen the accounts of 40 Iranian companies in Swiss banks.
Currently over 1.5 million Swiss francs (about $1,440,000) are frozen in Swiss banks over the Iranian sanctions.
From Thursday, Switzerland will block both the export of heavy weapons to Iran and the financing of any purchases of such equipment. The swiss.info website said Switzerland had not supplied any arms to Iran for some time.

- Veselko3Western countries know very the truth !18:30, 18/08/2010Iran does not attempt to get nuclear weapon. A "fatwa" prohibit it. Nuclear weapons did not prevent USA to loose in North Korea, in Vietnam, in Iraq and in Afghanistan. Nuclear weapons are totally useless. You can't use it without being yourself vitrified by your opponent. The real aim is to get a pro-western puppet regime in Teheran to control oil production and to check China anD in a less extend Russia.
