Cuban authorities released seven opposition activists sentenced to prison terms for "crimes against state security," BBC said on Sunday.
Six of the former prisoners will go into exile in Spain, while the seventh, dissident journalist Ivan Hernandez, refused to leave the country.
In 2003 Cuban authorities arrested 75 people suspected of "counterrevolutionary" activities. Last July, 52 of them were released under a deal, brokered by the Roman Cantholic Church.
