Israeli security forces remain on high alert despite a tense calm after the deaths of Palestinian supporters on Sunday, army and police spokespeople said on Monday.
Global media said at least 13 people had been killed and dozens injured as Israeli troops fired at groups of Palestinian supporters trying to cross the border between Syria and the disputed Golan Heights region.
Israel says it shot at the protesters because they entered the Golan Heights.
The violence came as Palestinians marked the 63rd anniversary of the Nakba (Catastrophe), their term for the founding of the Israeli state.
"No major accidents have been recorded since yesterday," military commanders said.
The blockade of the Palestinian territories - imposed on Sunday night - has been extended until at least late Monday, police spokesman Alex Kagalsky said.
