Moscow hotels most expensive in Europe

Moscow hotel room rates are the highest in Europe, Hotel.info online booking service said in a survey after comparing more than 210,000 facilities worldwide.
The average Moscow hotel rate is 7,684 rubles ($242.49) per night, which is 8.35 percent higher than last month.
The second highest rates are in Oslo, where hotel owners demand $225.48 a night. “That is 5.96 percent higher than the same month last year.”
London, Kiev and Stockholm round out the top five most expensive hotel accommodations in Europe.
The survey showed that New York has the highest hotel rates in the world. The average room rate is $275.69 per night. Next are Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, Singapore and Hong Kong.
