At least 16 people were killed and more than 20 were injured when a bomb targeting a bus with government employees went off on Friday in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar, DawnNews TV reported.
The bomb went off on a street in the Gulbela area as a bus with government employees with their families was passing by. Three children are among injured.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. The Pakistani Taliban have carried out similar bombings in the past.
