Pop music doyenne Madonna gave fans a glimpse of her political views this week, partially stripping during a show to reveal the word ‘Obama’ tattooed across her back and marveling – wrongly – at the United States having a “black Muslim” in the White House.

“You all better vote for f---ing Obama, OK?” Madonna told the audience during a concert in Washington, DC on Monday evening. Video clips of her remarks – described by one commenter as a “Madonnalogue” – were posted on numerous websites.

“We have a black Muslim in the White House! Now that’s some amazing s—t!” the singer exclaimed, to rapturous applause.

President Barack Obama has stated that he is a Christian but has struggled for years to fend off persistent insinuation from some of his opponents that he is a Muslim.

Obama, the first African-American U.S. president, is running against Republican Mitt Romney in the November 6 election to secure a second term in the White House.
