The Georgian parliament on Thursday approved the new cabinet headed by Bidzina Ivanishvili, leader of the Georgian Dream coalition that won in the country's October 1 parliamentary elections.
A total of 88 out of 150 members of parliament approved the new cabinet for a four-year term and supported its government program.
Georgian Dream won 85 out of 150 seats in parliament. President Mikheil Saakashvili’s United National Movement (UNM) will have 65 seats.
